The Naked Door

As I stood before this naked door, it shouted out its soul to me…I felt lost and lonely…“Our pains are caused by our wrong viewpoints toward things. The false self throws up an imaginary picture of how it insists things should be. And every time this ‘should be' clashes with what actually happens, we react painfully. The problem is not what actually happens, but our demands that something else should happen…”

You're absolutely right. But don't you think that the imaginary reference you paint for yourself could also help you look at bleak pictures and see colour in them at other times?
And it's a great subject for a picture. Nicely edited, the mood is very enchanting.
